IKAD Ceramics
IKAD Ceramics is a ceramic tile manufacturing company based in Tangerang, Indonesia. Founded in 1978, IKAD has grown to become one of the largest porcelain and ceramic tile manufacturers in Indonesia.
Situated within Kedaung Group’s Tangerang Industrial Compound, IKAD operates a 2,800,000 sq ft (260,000 sq m) manufacturing facility which operates 24 hours a day and is supported by a workforce of 1,200 skilled employees. Anchored by 9 large-scale production lines and equipped with some of the industry’s most advanced technology and machinery, IKAD operates a largely automated production facility which encompasses the entire ceramic tile production process from raw materials to finished goods. This makes IKAD’s facility one of the largest individual ceramic tile manufacturing facilities in Southeast Asia.
Equipped with advanced production machinery supplied by leading Italian and Chinese equipment manufacturers, IKAD produces a product portfolio of over 700 designs across 11 different sizing variations in both ceramic and porcelain. Across the 9 production lines, IKAD achieves a production capacity of over 80,000 sq m per day, or approximately 28 million sq m of tile production per year. Today, IKAD ranks within the top 5 largest producers of porcelain tiles in Indonesia.
Across nearly half a century of tile production, IKAD continues to innovate and invest in its facility’s self sufficiency, pushing its boundaries in the endeavour of producing the highest quality tiles in the market. All IKAD tiles are manufactured using raw materials that are refined and formulated in-house, using proprietary compositions and process parameters developed by IKAD’s internal R&D team. IKAD also operates several independent groundwater extraction and water treatment systems to mitigate external dependencies of water supply.
