Kedaung Oriental Porcelain Industry (KOPIN) is a porcelain tableware and home goods manufacturing company based in Tangerang, Indonesia. Founded in 1989, KOPIN has grown into one of the largest porcelain tableware manufacturers in Southeast Asia.
Located within Kedaung Group's Tangerang Industrial Compound, KOPIN operates a 545,000 sq ft (50,600 sq m) manufacturing facility which operates 24 hours a day and is supported by 550 skilled employees. Within a singular expansive facility, KOPIN controls every stage of production in-house, from raw material refinement and mould creation to high-temperature firing, glazing, decal production and intricate decoration.
Anchored by two advanced reduction kilns, including one of the largest reduction kilns for porcelain ware manufacturing in the world, KOPIN achieves an output capacity exceeding 2.8 million pieces per month, or approximately 33.6 million pieces per year. This places KOPIN amongst the largest porcelain tableware manufacturing facilities in the region.
Since its founding, KOPIN has produced over a billion pieces of porcelain and exported its products to over 35 countries across 5 continents. The facility’s strategic structure and experience have granted it the flexibility to serve a broad customer base, ranging from some of tableware’s most renowned brands such as Wedgwood, Royal Doulton, and Johnson Bros to large-scale promotional projects for Disney and Starbucks. KOPIN is also proud to manufacture for its own brands, including the Java Collection for premium dinnerware and the iconic Kukuruyuuuk line.
