Kedawung Subur
Kedawung Subur is a glass tableware and home goods manufacturing company based in Surabaya, Indonesia. Founded in 1975, Kedawung Subur has grown into one of the largest producers of glassware in Indonesia.
Located within Kedaung Group’s Surabaya Industrial Complex, Kedawung Subur operates a 925,000 sq ft (86,000 sq m) manufacturing facility that encompasses the entire glassware production process, from raw material refinement to final decal decoration. Supported by a workforce of 850 skilled employees, the company operates three large-scale furnaces and 16 production lines running 24 hours a day. This scale enables the facility to achieve a production capacity exceeding 290 tonnes per day, or approximately 105,000 tonnes per year, roughly equivalent to the output of 500 million glass tumblers annually.
Kedawung Subur’s product portfolio is primarily focused on tableware and home goods, including stemware, mugs, tumblers, plates, vases, candle holders, and ashtrays, and many other household products. Across nearly half a century of glassware production, the company has developed a portfolio of more than 2,500 product items and variations. Most notably, Kedawung Subur owns and operates the iconic HoReCa brand Royalex, under which more than 400 million tumblers have been sold, making it a longstanding staple in coffee shops across Southeast Asia.
To support its production operations and enhance manufacturing flexibility, Kedawung Subur works closely with its sister company, Kedawung Surya, which is also located within the same industrial compound and operates in a closely related area of glassware production. This collaboration allows the company to expand production capacity and respond more flexibly during periods of high demand and elevated order flow. Beyond glassware manufacturing, Kedawung Subur operates a corrugated box production facility with an output capacity of 1,000 tonnes of packaging products per month. This capacity is almost entirely absorbed by Kedaung Group’s Surabaya-based manufacturing subsidiaries.
