Kedaung IndoMetal Sedjati

Kedaung IndoMetal Sedjati is a stainless steel flatware manufacturer based in West Jakarta. Founded in 1970, IndoMetal has grown to become one of the largest producers of stainless steel flatware in Indonesia.

Located in West Jakarta, close to Kedaung Group’s headquarters, IndoMetal operates a 97,000 sq ft (9,000 sq m) manufacturing facility that encompasses the entire flatware production process from raw material to finished product. Supported by a workforce of 515 skilled employees and over 200 specialised production machines, the factory operates 14 hours a day to achieve a monthly output capacity of over 500,000 dozen pieces of flatware. This makes IndoMetal the leading flatware manufacturing facility in Indonesia by production capacity, product variety, and overall facility size.

Over half a century of continued innovation has allowed IndoMetal to remain at the forefront of flatware production with over 3 billion pieces of flatware produced since its establishment. In order to mitigate external dependencies, IndoMetal produces 100% of its tooling equipment in-house. This includes stamping, forming, and rolling dies, blanking, trimming, and slotting tools, as well as various grinding and polishing fixtures, jigs, and inspection gauges.

With a product portfolio of over 2,000 designs and variations, IndoMetal has exported its products across the globe. Its main market remains the local Indonesian market, but with significant exposure to the European, Nordic, and South American markets. IndoMetal’s strategic flexibility has allowed it to serve a broad customer base, ranging from large retailers such as IKEA to major institutional clients, including all Indonesian Airlines, as well as Singapore Airlines, American Airlines, British Airways, KLM, SAS, and Lufthansa.
