Kedaung IndahCan

Kedaung IndahCan is an enamelware and tin can manufacturing company based in Surabaya, Indonesia. Founded in 1974, IndahCan specialises in the production of tableware, cookware, kitchenware, and tin-can packaging products.

Located within Kedaung Group’s Surabaya Industrial Complex, Kedaung IndahCan operates a manufacturing facility dedicated to both enamelware and tin-can packaging production. With two complementary production divisions operating within a single site, the facility runs 16 hours a day and achieves a combined annual output of 2,600 tonnes of products.

IndahCan’s enamelware operation comprises two large-scale production lines and furnaces which encompass the entire vitreous enamel on steel manufacturing process. This includes steel forming and surface preparation to enamel application, high-temperature firing, and finishing. For more complex multi-material product configurations, selected finishing components and auxiliary processes are coordinated through approved external vendors, including decal application, silicone sealing components, handle assembly, and glass lid production. Today, IndahCan achieves an enamelware production output of approximately 320,000 pieces per month, or roughly 3,840,000 pieces per year.

IndahCan’s tin-can division focuses on producing packaging products for powdered medication and a range of other consumable goods. Unlike its enamelware operation which exports more than 40% of its production to international markets, tin-can production tailors itself nearly entirely for the domestic Indonesian market. Within the facility, IndahCan operates 6 tin-can production lines, along with 2 additional lines for tin-can printing. This allows IndahCan to achieve a monthly output of roughly 60 tonnes of tin-can products, equivalent to 720 tonnes per year.
